"Close Call" By Johan Rodriguez

Inspirations:
The inspiration behind this stop motion animation was Halloween and classic horror movies. The design behind the killer is based on the movie Scream and its killer, Ghostface.

The Process:
The entire animation was made using printer paper/construction paper, a black marker, and different colored gel pens. Creating most of the objects was simple enough. The most difficult part was creating the extra face but even then, it was just tracing over the first face's shape and drawing a different expression. Creating the animation wasn't very difficult either. Thanks to the software I used, it did not take very much time, my only problem was trying to frame everything well and not move the objects too much in between shots.
